Andrew Myer has had more than 30 years of commercial experience across a diverse range of operating businesses.  Andrew pursues a variety of business interests through the AV Myer Group of Companies, including investment, film, property development and philanthropy. In January 2018 Andrew was made a member of the Order of Australia in the General Division for significant service to the community for support for a range of cultural and environmental conservation organisations and to the film industry. 

 

He is the Founder and Managing Director of Sestriere Investments Pty Ltd, a private investment vehicle established in 1985, with interest in equities, property development and management.

 

Andrew has produced and executive produced nine Australian feature films including 'Radiance', 'Three Dollars', 'Look Both Ways', 'Romulus My Father', 'My Year without Sex', 'Balibo', 'Make Hummus Not War' and 'Paper Planes', as well as the tele-movie Dangerous Remedy for ABC TV.  Andrew was the Deputy-Chair of the Melbourne International Film Festival and was a past Deputy Chair of the Australian Film and Television Radio School (1997-2001).  In 2002 he established the AV Myer Indigenous Fellowship/Award.  The award aims to select and support emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders talent as they pursue their careers in the screen arts and broadcast sector. 

 

Major property developments include the redevelopment of the Fawkner Hotel in South Yarra into apartments, The Well at Camberwell, a major mixed-use development combining shopping, residential and commercial precincts, and the Roi Apartments, 175 apartments with a six star energy rating in North Fitzroy. 

 

In 2002 Andrew established the philanthropic Andyinc Foundation, a Private Ancillary Fund which supports projects in the areas of Environment/Sustainability, Social Justice/Community Building and Humanities, Culture and The Arts. He is a Trustee of the Sidney Myer Fund, a Member and former co-Vice President of The Myer Foundation and former Vice-President of Bush Heritage Australia.

Cindy Kempny - Business Manager

 

Cindy Kempny joined AV Myer Group in 2008. 

 

She has had an extensive career in managing financial accounting and reporting systems, spanning over 25 years.  

 

Her diversity has encompassed organisations in almost all sectors including retail, franchisor, wholesale, manufacturing, service and petroleum.

 

 


 

Kerry Gardner AM - Director and Co-Chair Andyinc Foundation 

 

Kerry became a director of the Andyinc Foundation in July 2009.

She is currently chair of the University of Melbourne's Institute of Art History, and most recently Kerry was appointed as Chair of the Venice Council, and charged with the responsibility of raising $2.2 million to enable an Australian artist to exhibit at Venice.

She also has served as a director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, and has previously sat on the boards of the Malthouse Theatre Company, Heide Museum of Modern Art, Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

 

Kerry is passionate about gender equality and economic empowerment, and serves as a director of the Global Fund for Women (based in San Francisco). Kerry is the third Australian member of the New York-based initiative Women Moving Millions, whose 290 members have pledged over US$600 million to organizations and initiatives committed to advancing women and girls worldwide.

 

Kerry is a writer and director of Australian films, with a strong focus on art, design and architecture. Kerry's most recent films include The Lyon Housemuseum and Robin Boyd: Australian Beauty, both of which were accepted into multiple international film festivals including Cinéma Des Antipodes Saint-Tropez and Napa Valley Film Festival.

 


 

Lillian Myer - Director Andyinc Foundation 

 

Lillian joined the AV Myer Group in 2017.

 

She is a Commerce student at the University of Melbourne majoring in accounting and management. Lillian has had experience working in the not-for-profit sector as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO of Gertrude Opera, Linda Thompson. Lillian volunteers as a mentor with The Smith Family, and through the Sacred Heart Mission's Women's House. At present Lillian is a pro-bono Consultant through Melbourne Microfinance Initiative. In 2017 Lillian was the Sponsorship and Partnership Officer of Melbourne Microfinance Initiative, which is Australia's first and largest student-led organisation that provides pro-bono consulting services to microfinance institutions globally. Lillian looks forward to commencing a graduate position as a Management Consultant with KPMG Australia in 2019.

 

 


 

Sharon Parker - Director Andyinc Foundation

 

Sharon Parker is a Partner of the Fordham Group’s Melbourne Office. The company offers services for Accounting, Tax & Advisory and Strategy & Planning to various different business owner clients. Sharon handles a broad range of business and taxation services including CGT small business concessions, estate planning, business valuations, and retirement planning. 

 

In addition to her work with private business owner clients, Sharon leads the Fordham Indigenous Consulting Team, which is part of Perpetual’s service offering to Aboriginal communities. This team provides Executive Office Services to Aboriginal communities across Australia, in addition to various financial and business advisory consulting services.
