Whitelion supports disadvantaged young people and helps make our community be more inclusive and a safer place. Whitelion's mission is to build meaningful relationships and create opportunities that enable highly vulnerable and high risk young people to reconnect with society and reach their full potential by providing youth-focused, gender and culturally specific programs.

This program works with young indigenous women in the Northern Metropolitan region of Melbourne who are aged 10-16 years, disengaged/at risk of disengaging from school, vocational education or employment; disconnected from culture and community; and exposed to multigeneratiional unemployment, drug addiction, violence, young parenthood and criminal activity/offending behavior. In partnership with Whitelion and Narana Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Care, it seeks to empower and inspire vulnerable Aboriginal young people.
